wow... i missed the age of the child. I thought that since they were paying for a textbook, they were in college.

 

I doubt it considering your name is nonbinding until you are 18.

 

Breaking mturk's rules are one thing and we can't allow that as requesters read this forum but I talk pretty damn openly about pirating anime and movies etc. I almost always pay for video games as steam is better than pirating but

 

Kid just saw how much sales tax he has to pay for the Switch. He's learning a lot today.

(He's buying his own Switch. Mama don't pay for video gamey type stuff. I'll get ripped off on college textbooks, but nope...not paying for video games. However, he makes his own money to pay for them so this has been a good parenting strategy. I just saw a report on tee vee that my kid has more in a bank savings account at age 14 than 50% of American adults have.)

Kid probably won't need student loans if things work out correctly. However, I'm 50 and STILL paying mine back, so I'm not opposed to them.

But yeah, he's a high school Freshman enrolling in college summer semester so we don't actually qualify for loans yet, lol.
