    I TOTALLY GET THAT FEELING! Nothing better than loving your gear.

    It was sleeting and disgusting and everyone was miserable and I was head to toe in my merino and sealskinz and my little (huge) parka- Man, I felt great! I do have a backup pair of traditional boots I like as well, for when I occasionally want them, but I rarely end up needing them. I like the assurance tho, cause I'm a dork about over preparedness. Still pissed AF that my emergency poncho turned out to leak, but glad I found that out near home. It can bite me.
