I know it's kinda tacky of me to use disposable plates and cups when we're having company for Easter supper. But would it really be that big of a faux pas? I really hate doing dishes.

 

No way, use those paper plates that is what they are for. It would be more of a faux pas to ask your family to wash all the dishes

Ok. Whew. Thanks y'all. I don't mind cooking and cleaning up, but that's a lot of dishes. I know this sounds sexist and antiquated to some of you, but in my family, growing up, the men ate first and the women served them. Then the women and kids ate. Afterwards the women would clean up. It's not so bad when there's a bunch of people cleaning up, but this year I'm not going to visit the rest of my family and it's different. The people coming were not raised the same as I, and it would be strange asking them to help with the dishes.
