    Even thought I typically am an Intel guy myself I'd say hold and see how Ryzen 2 pans out. They're gunning hard against Intel and those Cinebench benchmarks looked promising. Lots are speculating the flagship will be a 5Ghz or near 5Ghz chip with cores/threads to boot and of course AMDs budget friendly pricing.

    I am just biased because I was using AMD when they first came out and I have done plenty of corporate purchases. When it comes time to wholesale off the used computers the Intel boxes always come out ahead in price, by far

    I'm a fan of AMD because of their pricing and multi core performance but depending on what you use it for Intel's sing core is unmatched in speed and AMD just can't figure out how to come close.

    That's the typical trope, but AMD seems to want to remove that bias w/ Ryzen 2 apparently having a higher per core IPC and 7nm process. Meanwhile Intel is going on 14nm++++ and keeps delaying their 7nm fab. Again, this is coming from a person with a 5.1GHz oc'd 8700k. I may sell my chip off and join team red if it comes out as anticipated.
