I do buy precooked ones every now and again and use everything, down to the carcass for stock, myself.

I actually just shoved a carcass (with some meat still on it because I was in a rush and didn't have time to remove it) into the freezer and realized I have enough bones built up in my freezer to make more stock. I'll just have to double strain this stock through cheesecloth to remove the floaty meaty bits, lol.

It's just the time it takes to cook one that I don't have much of any longer. I used to, before I had to drive the kiddo to and from school that is far away every day, but that commute way cut into my "free" time (for chores and cooking, lol) so some things had to go (meaning, cooking times have to get much shorter if we're eating healthy meals!)

 

It went from (1) to (0). lol. Has he gotten back to you?

In "Comcast is a piece of shit" news...

There's still a massive outage in my area, for Internet, phone and television on Business accounts. Home accounts are not affected apparently.

This is DAY THREE of unreliable service from Comcast. Yesterday I was very close to hauling home the large laser printer we use here for checks and reports and working from home, but it managed to come up long enough for me to rush though that work before it dropped out again.

Once this is finally fixed, they are getting a nice, scathing call from us demanding a credit. We have rentals on the market and the two ways people reach us about those are on the phone and over email, which are unreliable right now.

This is the worst I've ever seen with Comcast, and if that person calls back trying to sell us on their 10mbps 4G backup service again I'll not be nice to them. (That is a piece of shit backup option, anyway, I wouldn't pay for that.)

lol. I dont care at all. My portfolio on Fidelity is in some trash ETF's so if I end up picking up some random index fund advice on an unrelated forum, its probably not the worst thing in the world. lol
