Wait what?! But...Joel?!

 

It seems like every week Netflix gives me more and more reasons to not keep Netflix

 

FFS... This is why I've almost quit watching TV all together.

 

It sounds like it more of a grower than a shower..jk It was a ETF.

 

It's up right now, which is how I'm able to type this. But they texted me this morning apologizing for their service still being out (which means, it could drop out at any second) and telling me to re-enroll in text notifications if I wanted to stay updated. (They even dropped me from text notifications.)

They have zero idea when the fix will be permanent. Not even a wild guess. And, when I called, the automated Grinch of a lady said, "We apologize for the service outage in your area. The service will be fixed....as soon as possible. An agent will have no more information about this, do not contact an agent about this outage."

That made this old lady even more angry, that I can't even talk to a human, so yeah...maybe my boss should call about this before I cancel our services in a rage.

Rule of thumb #1. Things you should not need you need. If you rely on the internet for anything super important it is always good to have a back up. It sucks yes but it will help.

 

If I lived closer by, I would just drop a shredded chicken in your house on the sly . Do you have a slow cooker? Crock pot or something? I don't use it anymore, but I have a kickass recipe for a rotisserie type tasting chicky that you can do in that It's pretty low maintenance!

I use my phone as a hotspot if my internet ever goes down.

 

One time I called my ISP to complain about the mind-numbingly slow speeds we had been experiencing and I had taken a screenshot of a Speedtest to show them. The lady on the phone claimed that taking the screenshots is what was slowing my speeds down. I just.. I...
