Oh man, I fuck up cooking so bad. I tried making pancakes but they were too watery and cooked weird. Then when I ate them they were way too salty. I followed a recipe too.

I practice on small things now. Cookies, some cakes. Anything that's REALLY cheap if I fuck it up. I never make dinner or meals that matter just because I almost always ruin some part of it. It's a trade off really. He cooks Hummingbird dinners every single meal. All I have to do is clean and warm a bed!

The funny part is, I would legit NOT CARE if someone used a shortcut and brought the dessert, because why are there 15-20 people going and 2 of us bringing food? And, like, put your bets down now people, cause I know a few folks in this group who are petty enough that they will bring a store brought dessert, yoink the label off, and try to get everyone to eat it instead of mine, just because they know I'm bringing the dessert too now and get very mad whenever my cooking is complimented. I'm not naming names, but the same person dumped some horror story dessert in the middle of my perfectly set up christmas party table and moved my own food out of the way at my own party.
