You can almost hear the sound of priestly ghosts quietly tutting in disapproval.

 

I'm so dead inside He got bored and started lapping folks this weekend, and my soul only left my body about 3 times. He's annoyingly close to the track record and thus going INSANE. I don't think he can beat it on THIS bike without some more tweaks, so I assume he'll practically launch himself to the moon before long.

 

Glad to hear he is alright. They should not be allowed to make those calls. Someone I had a LTR with before I met the hubby, well he decided to leave his cushy tech job and go help his friend flip houses. 1st day he goes in, I am at work and I get a call that he has been airlifted over an hour away. No information about why, how, what etc.... I just get someone to cover and rush there. When I walk in the room they have him in, I know I look like that scene from As Good As it Gets, he was on his back and his feet were off the end of the bed, only his left foot was facing the floor. I really could have used that information before I walked in. Also, people should not drive in such a panic, which is all those calls result in.

 

You've taken it wrong. I have.

 

Time to double check paperwork and prepay the premiums.

Meanwhile, they forgot to call me for like...hours upon hours. So, I just thought Matt was dead somewhere and was looking for him. Thanks guys! He got hauled in at like 1am and I didn't hear about it till after 7am? Nearly lost my mind.

Yes. They couldn't even tell me which hospital they were taking him to when they called. There were 3 about the same distance from where he had his accident. I had to call the county dispatch to find out where he was even going. I gotta say though, everyone was extremely nice and helped me as much as they could with whatever information they did have.

 

OMG! I would lose my mind. I just think if they need to get people, they should send someone and give them the option of a ride. But how on earth do you not notify the emergency contact? I would be boxing someone that night.
