Whenever I tried using elastic bands they just get worn out so fast and get tangled in my hair and all that. Zero issues with any of that using the superior ribbon method. Also, ribbons are just that much more fashionable.

 

Seriously, I love my collection of ribbons.

 

Better for your hair too. I just have a hell of a time getting ribbons to stay in my hair because it's so fine. Then they also don't have the hold strength at this point. My hairs down to mid thigh at the longest point. Scares me sitting down thinking it's spiders every time.

As a dude with long hair to my ass, I need to look up the ribbon method. I hate ponytails.

 

It's mostly using ribbons instead of elastic hair ties to hold my ponytail back here.
