I have a goals now

 

I had a short shift today from 5:45am to 2pm, then drove across the state, and can finally relax watching detective pikachu finally. At least I'm going to get into overtime with my Sunday shift!

 

My evolution went:

Nintendo > SNES > PS > PS2 > Wii > Xbox360 > PS4

My sister had the genesis and N64, but she wasn't terribly into sharing.

 

We had to share all our stuff because they were for the family, not individual kids. Getting one kid a console when they have siblings just seems weird to me. Also we had a Genesis, a N64, and a PS1 and that's it.

 

Daniel Engber would disagree with you about non-essential kind sir! According to him Amazon is locking our attention to the progress bar like a tractor beam and even mitigating our fear of death.... It gives you the vision of a beginning and an end...

When I was a kid, I would never spend a cent, so I would save any money I came across, until I saved up enough and sold my NES to buy the SNES. Then I did the same and sold my SNES to get a PS. By the time PS2 came out, I was working and paid for that myself.

I'm pretty sure my sister had those other systems given to her because she never saved money or had a job. She's 33 this year and still lives with my parents if that tells you anything.
