IMO you've got the right idea. — FWIW, I'm off Reddit for as long as I can avoid it before I relapse. On Twitter I tweet/retweet about one topic (a TV show that I like and am happy to help fan-shill for, see my avatar for a clue) and I no longer tweet about anything else.

 

I meant more anything with my name on it where I interact with others in a personal, but impersonal way. Not sure what I am trying to say exactly, but since I deleted Facebook and twitter and what not, I feel a lot better.

My wife spends far too much time on facebook comparing our lives to that of others. It's really unhealthy. I only stay logged on for our work page communication. Never refresh my feed or leave the work page.

Eh, it doesn't really work in person. I can understand posting small updates about your kids or pets or whatever on Facebook. What I don't like is people who spend all day every day on Facebook as if it's life and death and are always starting drama over it. Like, just put your phone down sometimes. People who can actually manage their time well on social media are generally less obnoxious about it. Also, fuck people who post political crap, that's annoying 100% of the time.
