We found out that my brother keeps my mom in a closet and every time he opens the closet he says' hi mom' and it creeps his wife out. It's always a funny one

Doug’s mini urn (part of him is here, part of him is back in Georgia) is on our console table along with our photo album, a giant vase full of pine cones (running gag), and a dick I made out of beads at a craft night. It’s extremely classy. Doug would approve.

 

I told my kids I was getting cremated and divided up into little bottles. I told RJ they were going to make a necklace out of his bottle and he had to wear me everyday. He said no.

 

It is more fun if one of them gets a bottle filled with sand without knowing it.

Just a thought for the evening, y'all. My preacher's wife just had an angiogram. Back ten years ago when she was pregnant they found out she had several aneurysms in her brain. The doc said these scans showed that most of them were stable, but he wanted to go back and review 3 of them to make sure they hadn't gotten larger. They said she should be blind, paralyzed, unable to talk or otherwise have some side effects. But thankfully, all she has experienced is fatigue, headache and she's a bit unbalanced. I can't imagine having 6 or 7 ticking time bombs in my head for the past ten years, and that if even one of them burst, could kill me. Makes me thankful for the good health I do have.
