So in the spirit of catching up, I went to Sonic Temple last weekend. It was awwwwwwesome. Got to see Ghost, System of a Down, Gojira, Architects, Foo Fighters, Disturbed, and tons more.

Metalgasm.

I'd never seen Ghost live, they put on a GOOD show, I liked their music before, but now I love them.

System is craaazy live as well, first time for them too, but they've always been one of my favorite bands. They flow from song to song and make a really unique show by intercutting their songs, hadn't ever seen anything like it. It's like System of a Down the movie.

 

You went to Sonics for something besides their drinks?

 

i haven't seen soad since the days of ozzfest, but they were awesome back then too. awesome to hear they play with the same energy still. i've heard that about ghost too, i guess that explains the $$$ for tickets for their tours.

 

I like ghost because the singer talks like count dracula.
