Wanted to share this rejection and super snarky rejection reason.

The avarage time needed to complete the survey is around 5 min. In your case, you did it in 3 min or less. Therefore, you have 1 or more standard deviations below the avarage time. Next time, pay more attention to the time that is given to you and take the time you need. If you do it too fast, the researcher will make an assumption that your data is not reliable and that you filled out the boxes without reading the questions. Consequently, for the reasons mentioned above, your assignment is rejected."

 

This is when we learn that @ChrisTurk has automatic updates enabled on his server.

 

that's almost as bad as the requester that changed the hit requirements after people took their survey, rejecting them all

Yeah we can blame him for not having failover to another service.

 

The only other options are AWS & Azure, both of which are non-starters. Waiting on DO to open up their cloud SQL services for this very reason though
