    It's just a really bad situation in that regard, the other schools around here are in worse areas...this one she goes to is basically a mix of rural and city so you have these "hicks" as they call them that basically have a bunch of racist beliefs mixed with city kids and there is just constant shit all the time and no one does anything.

    If all else fails, there's always home school or online school. Personally that would be my last resort, but if I feared for my child and they weren't able to really defend themselves, it would definitely be on the table.

    Even without physical trauma, the emotional stuff can be harder to deal with. My eldest has had to deal with it. School is hard enough without all of the bullying stuff.
