My "family" pulled this crap on me and on top of it implied If I came to visit I should not bring my children (two had developmental problems and were too stressful for my grandparents, according to the aunts). Not surprisingly I didn't visits often so when my grandmother passed my aunts refused to give my husband any information on the funeral arrangements (I was out of the country when it happened). They said if I couldn't come see her when she was alive I didn't need to see her now. Haven't spoken to any of them since and probably never will

My SIL and brother already pull shit like that. I missed their daughters 1 year birthday and they removed me from facebook and I haven't seen them since expect for the one time we as a family had to go handle my moms estate. Family sucks sometimes. I might wake my husband up early today to spend more time with him. I at least get to choose that family.
