In my opinion the rejections weren't warranted. The instructions, if I remember right, had to do with turning a long sentence into several sentences. You had the option to submit it by writing "SIMPLE" in the text box if there was no real way to break the sentence up. I felt wary of the HIT because many of them seemed to warrant the "SIMPLE" response based on the information available (breaking it up further would have been nonsensical for a lot of them). We all know how these HITs can be sometimes though so I didnt think that much of it and just tried to use my best judgement. I definitely didn't mark all of them as SIMPLE but the reason they gave was that I marked too many as simple and they mass rejected all of them. I assume they thought I was spamming them with fake "Simples" and doing poor quality work and would be willing to take the rejections if it were my mistake, but they also have not responded to my followup about the rejections. They have a good rating so I wish there was a way to at least notify people that they do mas reject! Might just have to let go of this one though.

I did about 30 of the review batch to test them out and there appeared to be some people that spammed them. Nearly half of the ones I came across were just random copy and paste of the target sentences. Sorry they haven't been communicative.

hey all! Did anyone else do the Pro-Change qualifier hit for Caregiver Eligibility Survey ? I did, and got an email today stating I was qualified for their $5 Hit, and to search for it. But I can't ever find it. In fact, a HIT for $5 doesnt even show up in their Turkerview Requester page.
Just wondering if anyone else had the same thing happen?

Ugh. I want to do this and meet the qualifications, yet when I click, it says I don't meet the requirements. This happens several times a day. If they can't honor their own qualifications, then what's a turker to do?

 

That is a brand spanking new requesters.. I don't know how they'd already have you blocked but seeing that message when you meet all the qualifications on the platform for the HIT means you're blocked

Nope, but it's possible they just haven't released the HIT yet. Try sending the requester an email, they might let you know whether or not it was released and if not - when it will be

 

Endor block? Pretty sure that new account is Endor even though it's not hosted on their thing

 

uhhhh at one point I was told that sometimes when you get redirected because of no available hits left it will show that page too, but that was a long time ago and I just haven't paid any mind to it. I may also be very wrong
