Fwiw, the Bot and I were both able to cover state school costs very well between work and scholarships.

Nice! And I'm pretty sure you were like me, and didn't receive help from parents either. :emoji_sweat_smile:

I wish I could have. I'm still salty about it.

Sounds like my ass should have moved to a cheaper state to get an education, lol.

Edit: I went to college in San Francisco, so yeah, not cheap.

I kept getting Unity errors when I was rushing to load it, but it worked eventually. Did you email them?

Did you start drinking at the start of it then pass out midway through and then finish the hit after waking up?

I feel like it is easier to afford school if you go to school in the south. I was paying around 114 a credit hour down in Georgia compared to 389 a credit hour up in New Jersey. Same kind of school, same exact class. My parents make too much money for me to qualify for anything other than student loans and my grades were okay, but not stellar so try as I might, scholarships were out of the question. Now that I'm 24, I finally qualify for a Federal Pell Grant, but like I said earlier, financial aid cut me off for a Time Frame Overage.
I get that it is possible to pay for college without going into debt, but it's not all that feasible. My dad always likes to say that when he went to school he could pay for it plus his car insurance plus rent all with a part time job working 20 hours a week. That's not something that can be done now. That idea is nearly impossible in the modern day.

I mean, I wasn't considered in-state for Clemson, but I got a scholarship that waived out of state tuition for me or I wouldn't have gone there. I worked as an RA on top of my other jobs, cause it gave me cheap housing and a free meal plan plus the option to work 20 hours extra a week as a desk asssitant & I took a summer housing job every summer for the free rom and 40 hours a week. It wasn't ideal, but I scraped on by between scholarships and working. Matt wasn't in state either, but got his out of state mostly waived as welll from scholarships. He did have help from his mom, who didn't want him to struggle like I did, but he paid her back within a year after graduation via living in his airplane hangar instead of an apartment, and then his camper for a couple years on the property of the rich dude who he built planes for lol.
