This requester is a real stand up guy. Although he wants fairer wages on the MTurk platform, he won't hesitate to put out real underpaid batches such as this.

You have to read 10 conversations, and give 2 possible responses each to them. You get an extra shiny penny for each extra response, but it's just a ploy to get you to do more work for less pay. The conversations barely make sense, and they lack any sort of context, so you have no idea what to write about half the time. This batch also uses the dreaded Crowd HTML Elements template, which screws my old PC over. For a batch with a US only qual, it seems that the requester doesn't mind paying American workers below minimum wage for his own AI research.

In a Medium article, this requester talks about his own Google Chrome extension, and how he wants to make MTurk better by having requesters pay fairer wages. It's hypocritical to talk about that in your article, then post borderline slave wage, menial, mentally intensive work such as this. The pay is more than insulting when you consider the context behind the requester and his intentions.
