It's not that I'm not paying attention and usually I can recall stuff like that but when they're trying to purposely make things seem similar - such as how competitive/cooperative are close enough to each other - it gives me enough pause that I'm not sure. I'm absorbing the info and taking it into account while I'm answering the questions, but it's not important information that I'm trying to memorize so I immediately forget it.

Fine if it's something to see if I actually read what you required of me (i.e. if they ask "briefly summarize what this article was about), but I'm not going to remember in a multiple choice question if the percentage was 21, 22, 23, or 24.
