If I were an hourly or salaried employee, I wouldn't mind! But when I only get paid for results, I can't waste time unless I think I have a reasonable chance of finding it -- and after looking through some of those, I gave up on the batch.

got my CDL years ago and only used it for 6 months. now that automatics are becoming the norm at the big companies i think i might get back into it.

 

Nah I'm good. Driving big stuff for me is bad news. I'm perfectly happy with what I do. I was just jk around. I work from home and never really have to leave. Get to see my family right when I get out of work

 

They have automatics now? Wow. I did it for a few years (2007-2010). But I was diagnosed with epilepsy 2 years ago. Medication controls the seizures but a lot of companies might not like the idea. Also, after 9 years, most companies will make you go back to school. Anyways, I worked for CRST with my brother (they have team drivers), but when he was fired, I went to work for Werner.

 

Just ordered a new laptop to continue my blasphemous, single screen turking career.
