In my experience, CL ads are often pretty inaccurate. People are probably just trying to verify the information.

It's similar when buying a car.

1. When you call, you don't mention which car (helps determine if they're actually a private seller)
2. You ask about every bit of information that was in the ad or on the sign to verify they both know what they're selling and that they weren't bullshitting in the ad/sign
3. Even if you've already seen the car in person, you always ask about superficial details to gauge if the seller is bullshitting you, etc.

Could have read the selection they gave me three times. Took forever for it to switch to next page. Then when I submitted it it told me it was over the alotted amount of time.

It gets better when you force them to get that part time job to pay for their own food.

 

Mine are pretty darn clear. It's a company/professional listing. And the information is repeated twice (once in the Craigslist form, once in my write up) plus there is a link to our website which we tell everyone to please go to BEFORE calling us to verify they meet minimum applicant requirements because there is no point in calling me if you don't meet those.

What's frustrating is when I go to all the trouble to post all this information on Craigslist and Zillow and people read the rent price and bedrooms only, then call. Y'all know how many calls I get per day? We're always told we're the only place that answers their phones and I'm beginning to think we will also stop answering and change how we do things because it's frustrating to constantly give out the same information that is right there and can be easily verified with 2-3 clicks. It's literally a time thing. There just is not enough time to field inquiries for vacancies and do all the other stuff I have to do (like, you know, type on the forum...lol...)

Oh, also, my real estate license number and my boss's, and our address, and links to all of our company info are on there so it's really not hard to verify we're legit. We clearly aren't scamming or a private owner.

 

Mine just turned 32 and you would not believe the amount of snacks he eats! Always complaining the snack cabinet is empty when I was just at the store last week!

I actually have to STOP him from eating some dinnertimes.

I feel guilty doing that.

But three huge bowls of a pasta dish is too much really. I mean the big bowls, not tiny cereal bowls. And I make extras to freeze and he eats all that extra, lol.

I try and refocus him on another food if he's already had two huge bowls.

He's never NOT hungry. He's just not always starving.
