@Buntastic is probably better with succulents than i am. i like big leafy boys, and i'm good at killing succulents.

So fucking dramatic, succulents. All of that type coordinated to leave me at once but at least I have thousands of pups. I admire the death bloom and it's and aspire to go out in a similar way.

Thanks for the warning. I would have wept at my own incompetence. Succulents can be hard. People say they are the easiest but I've kept so many "difficult" plants alive but half my succulents are constantly on life support. My string of hearts, string of bananas, string of pearls and haworthia cooperi seem to be happy (maybe they are hiding death throes).

 

Totes get it. That's why I'm retiring to a lighthouse and using my magic to hurt people when my flower has wilted.

 

I decided I was sick of seeing this convo and not knowing what was going on so I google image searched succulent death bloom and am not disappointed.. plants get boners lol

 

That's a deathbloom. Means you kept it happy and healthy through the life cycle and now it rewards you with a green phallic monster....that will eventually get a flower.
The secret to succulents? Neglect. And have enough that you don't care if one or two do the squish melt. (I have 87 last count)
