    I got rejected and was just coming here to see if anyone else did. They said I failed the word count, but I used a word counter website. I messaged and told them I would revise my samples and to please reverse the rejection. We'll see...

    At one point, I think that was the standard, but based off of recent feedback, it's clearly not the case anymore. Personally, I treat it that way, but I'm on the extreme end of the scared spectrum.

    I don't know specifically? I maintain my submissions like it's one fuck up and you're done. However. They realized spot checking was not so good so now they're going back and QA'ing people's work and people who aren't 99% accurate or better will receive some sort of message and/or correcting and stuff I guess. I would assume if you submit shit for nearly every hit attempting to spam for easy money, that you're gonna get the qual yanked.

    yeah that. i've always operated as if it's one strike. they clearly gave that up years ago, but it seems with their QA recently, they're cracking down again. maybe not one strike, but i still ask myself "would i bet my qual on this being correct?" and if it's "no", then i return it. i'm way more cautious than i probably need to be, but i like to think that's a good thing.
