    Welp, I saw THE WORST thing I have ever seen today. A freaking garbage human tossed a cat carrier OUT OF HIS MOVING TRUCK ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY as I was merging onto the freeway. I took the next exit and looped back, but no good :/ The only thing that kept my faith in humanity is that another woman saw it as well and got the license plate number and we were able to report it. And then we both lost our collective shit.

    It didn't make it :/ We both bawled our eyes out. Poor thing was covered in poopy towels and kibble, too. It's hands down the most vile thing I have ever seen in my life. Poor smol bb did not deserve to get flung from a moving truck.

    I wish I could say I had never witnessed this but it would be a lie. I live on a dead-end road that has swamp on the side and a river at the end. People toss animals out here all the time because of the location... so much so that the people at the local shelter know who I am. I've fished more kittens/puppies out of the swamp than I would ever care to list/

    Sorry you had to see it happen though... I understand how upsetting/anger inducing it can be.

    LIke I don't get this at all. You don't want a kitten/puppy/whatever, fine. Take them to a shelter or a resuce. or something. And if you're going to be a garbage human who doesn't want to deal with it the right way then at least have the decency to let them loose and have a shot at finding somebody or living. Noboy deserves to get flung into a swamp or chucked out of a moving car. That's just like...serial killer shit right there.

    I've seen abandoned carriers/pets and people drop things in the desert all too often, unfortunately. It was seeing someone hurl a carrier going like 60+ that destroyed my soul. I've never seen it just happen in front of me like that. It's like...you KNOW stuff like that happens, but seeing it just blew my mind.
