Speaking of - How do you keep the other cats from getting into his food? I think Lyla's going to need to make that move soon, and I have no idea how I'd keep the rest of them from eating her food before she finishes it.

She was avoiding Scrags and the others hardcore at the time, so I think she probably wasn't getting enough contact to contract it herself, since it required straight up spit to spit levels of contact. They were all vaccinated, but the vet said that doesn't stop every strain/that's why it was way more mild for Bearnie/Porgy compared to Scrags. The vet said it was really lucky, cause we just expected she woud be next at the vet.

She's a mighty b-word, but Holly has been the least amount of trouble $$ wise. She a tank!

 

At that point, wouldn't a suppository be simpler?

Can anyone help with KEYBOARD SUGGESTIONS?
I have CTS and my wrists are just killing me lately. I can't even wind down with a video game after turk because the CTS is acting up so bad.
I need a keyboard that requires minimal pressure? I used to have a SteelSeries Merc and I LOVED IT.. so easy to press buttons, no fatigue.. I need something like that. Any suggestions?

HAHAHAHA.

Well, I start off feeding Holly/Bearnie/Porgy/Coug/Sheila in one room, close the door, bring his Highness his bowl of wet food or lock him in the master bath with it, and then I take the dogs out back to feed them. Loop back inside to take Bearnie out of the food room before he starts rampaging everyone elses food and then make sure he doesn't find a way to steal Scrags food. Check on the others, close the door, cause now Skeeter is barking at the dog next door and I need to let him back inside. Frank will stand in the doorway for about a minute, making sure to let out all the cool air ofc, before deciding to go back out, until he gets upset that he's been "left" outside and starts to cry. By then, I have to make sure Scrags isn't peeing from the sheer excitement of food and need to wrap up his food and put the rest in the fridge.

And, uh, do that 2 times a day! Bonus points if Porgy eats too fast and immediately voms it all up, so you have to clean it up while fighting off every other animal who wants dibs. Extra bonus points if Scrags pees right on you while you walk his royal ass to the food bowl, because you forgot to point his fire hose away from you. Extra extra bonus points if Bearnie tries to avoid being parted from the bowls of food and climbs the window to screech from above.

Tbh, they don't make a lot of the cat meds in butt form and uhm, a lot of cats will LOSE THEIR MINDS way worse if you try to shove something up their ass vs burritoing them in a towel.

My options for Bearnie's meds are usually shot (if I'm lucky) or pill and that's it. A few of the antibiotics come in liquid form, and unless I want to specialty order something way more expensive, that's what I'm using.

Not having any pets, I didn't know they don't make many butt pills. Just felt like if you're gonna burrito your cats in towels, might as well just plug them up instead of forcing them to swallow the pill. Anyway, if they don't make em, this is moot, so good luck y'all with treating your cats!
