Yeah, I started doing daily withdrawls to amazon payments from turk and from amazon payments to my bank account. That way when these issues happen I don't have a week or more of money that I can't access.

I'm still opening HITs, then staring at the screen, then returning HITs because it makes no sense to me.

    Pros:
Watch a timed video and answer a few questions. Took about 4 minutes
    Cons:
I let it bake for 11 minutes because of Andy's past rejection. The pay is good enough to risk a rejection. Only accept an Andy if you can handle rejects.

    https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/ftc-warns-cash-option-may-205308527.html

The Federal Trade Commission on Wednesday told consumers affected by the Equifax data breach that they are unlikely to get the full $125 cash payment that many sought.

Equifax last week reached a $700 million settlement over the massive 2017 data breach that exposed the personal information of 147 million people. The bulk of that money is intended for consumers who were impacted by the breach.

The company provided several forms of relief under the agreement, including the option of credit monitoring or in lieu of that, a cash payment of up to $125.

But the FTC said on an update to its website Wednesday that "public response to the settlement has been overwhelming" and millions of people visited the claims site in the first week alone. Because those payments come from a fixed pot of $31 million, if more people apply than there are full funds for, then the amount each person gets will drop as the pool of money is distributed proportionally.

WOW. That is ridiculous if they accepted people's information and told them a check was on the way even after they maxed out the pool. Thanks to these dummies my email and other sensitive information is now on for sale on the dark web and an application for a home loan happen on my account since.

if they have a fixed pool of $31 million to split amongst 147 million people, isn't that $0.21 per person?

Yeah something doesn't add up. That is very frustrating since that breach has already negatively affected both my credit score AND put my accounts at risk due to my information being on the dark web now

I remember "winning" $330 from BoA back like 12 years ago, of which I got I think a total of about twenty bucks.

I was going to fill mine out soon. but I don't need a check in the mail for $0.21. ironically, I and other people will move before they send the checks. so the $0.21 checks could cause identity thefts.
