As I was writing my CONs below, they got back to me with what to enter into the box. I would give a green for communication!

Cons:
No code at the end. AKA, it never gives you a code so you actually cannot submit since the submit button the HIT screen checks that code before the submit button activates. This can all be gotten around with the It's Broke script. I submitted anyways, messaged the requester with screen caps made from the final page showing there was no code. A few others reported the same issue, so this was very clearly an error on the requester's side. I guess we shall wait and see.

Whole blood transfusions are great for needing red blood cells and lost blood (Ive had those, yay!) while platelets are great for clotting and bleeding issues. They are just gonna be used in different scenarios. If you need whole blood, you needs it. If you're going thru anything that is fucking with your clotting factors, you might only need the platelets or plasma. You can give a more concentrated amount of platelets at once with a platelet transfusion, which is great if thats specificially what that person needs, but sometimes they need the red blood cells more...basically, to dumb it way down. They go nanners for AB platelets the same way they go nanners for O neg whole blood donations, cause both are sorely needed.

Having had more than a few blood transfusions, this is my useless knowledge!
