I still see that on the list for some reason but yeah Ally, Marcus, and lots of others are plenty good. Interest rates on savings accounts are going down but they are still higher than a checking for your liquid cash.

My local bank has 0% interest right now, so even 1.8 is better than nothing. For some reason I always assumed a savings account would have some interest associated with it.

If the interest rate is important to you it might be worth looking into a credit union. I get 3% (up to 15k) on my checking acocunt
