I do miss how they used to send the highest, lowest, average, and you're own score in the bonus email so I could see how I did.

 

Get way better headphones.

 

My day just got interesting...

 

Now I'm wondering if the requester varies the task. I'm absolutely convinced that the one I got had a statistical impossibility of perfect score, because some "two sound" clips' 2nd sound wasn't any more discernible than the allegedly-absent 2nd sound in some "one sound" clips. Though these cases were just a fraction among the hundreds, there were enough of them to make me think nobody could reach 100%, except by extreme 'luck'.

But full disclosure, I'm over 50 and maybe my hearing isn't what it used to be on some high frequencies. And maybe my beloved Sennheisers aren't perfect for this. And my laptop's sound hardware sucks and can't drive my Sennheisers properly.

So yeah, I'm probably wrong.

 

No you prob just suck at those things. Do you have bad hearing or bad headphones?

 

Headphones are 'good' (Sennheiser HD25-1-ii) ... laptop sound hardware sucks ...
ears are over 50 years old (doc says my hearing's fine for my age, but yeah, for my age) ...

 

yeah they are fine pay/hour done properly, not worth it imo, but if the work is done properly they do pay you.

the only instances of them not paying well is from people who's data quality we can't verify.
