I didn't think to do the math like that since neither transaction is actually en route to my bank account lol

They've only cleared MTurk -> Payments, neither has gotten cleared to go to my bank.

 

I saw the debacle going on and just waited to withdraw for a single time when it was over. Glad I made that call!

 

I spoke with Amazon, just an FYI they said they are aware of the issue, you won't lose any of your balance or anything and they are expecting it to be resolved in the next 24 to 48 hours.
