No one knows. I'm leaning more toward them keeping the negative balance, though. That's the way I read it, but everyone has their own different interpretation. RIP to everyone who spammed the button who only makes $15/week though.

If they're 100 weeks in the hole, might as well just quit while they're ahead.

 

I don't think anyone can honestly say they know for sure at this point, there are Reddit posts with people saying that a supervisor told them something, and other posts saying a different supervisor told them the complete opposite, and some saying the supervisor told them they haven't decided yet at all.

 

Reddit is (unsurprisingly) full of shit. I'm gonna just wait and see.

One way I could see amazon wiping the negative balance is if their insurance covers for this kind of mistake and pays them (and I imagine there would be a clause precluding them from taking it back from workers if they are paid by the insurance).

 

I'm kinda hoping it stays negative so that one ash hole bragging about his "free" 3600 on Reddit can heck off.
