Someone else mentioned that here too, but mturk has such a high turnover rate I highly doubt anyone actively took advantage, much less someone dumb enough to still use r/mturk as their main form of turking community.

 

So I'm pretty sure I got screened out after the first question, but it gave me a code.....

If you got a code, you are pretty much obligated to submit.

 

yeah, I wouldn't take any chances a month later having your payments/mturk account banned because you have a negative balance and then they send you into collections or try to charge your card/bank account or some shit

Agreed for the most part, and I wasn't saying they did something malicious, just that it's always a possibility.

Although we have no evidence that person only uses r/mturk for their turking community need.

 

FWIW when I had issues with Amazon Payments a couple weeks ago I got a $10 Amazon gift card lol. I wasn't able to deposit at all though, much less do it like 6 times.

 

@angel I'm sure your struggle is worth far more than $10 gift card, though.
