I love when you ask a requester to make a HIT shorter with the same pay, and they do it within the hour. I wish all requesters would respond to my pleas for better pay. It's nice when they actually listen to the feedback.

I think this is pretty interesting and this is a good response. I have provided a crap ton of "free" surveys to sites like 23andme (in the name of research/genetic testing), hell, even customer feedback to merchants I frequent... but that obviously does not change the way I answer mTurk surveys for $. In my first skim of the article there is a lot more that could be taken many different ways; however putting out a HIT on mTurk and saying that less people would complete future studies for no money on a crowd sourcing marketplace seems counter intuitive to me.

 

I just roasted a bunch of green chilies, then peeled them all. Made the mistake of going to bathroom after only washing my hands once.
