Guilty. Keep in mind though that Prolific pays in pounds so it may be more than you think.

 

I did...are you going to complete it? I haven't decided because it annoys me that it was their error. Since they messed up they should be compensating us to retake it imo.

 

To break it down. 35pence ($0.42USD) for the initial survey (not too bad, took like 1-2min), and two follow-up for 65pence bonus ($0.78USD). So pretty much $1.20USD for at the very least, 1-3 sentences + 4-8 sentences (the second survey would probably be similar) plus the rest of the questions. That's a hard no for me.

I don't usually write unless the entire thing comes to at least 25 cents per sentences. Keep in mind too that this was three different survey at different times (and you had max 1h to do the survey once you received the link) for just $1.20. And the 5-11 sentences is for the second survey. I'm willing to bet the third one would have another 5-11 sentences, so it's actually 10-22 sentences for $1.20, so more like 5-10 cents per sentences, which is absolute garbage.
