I didn't mean to post this. Not sure what I pressed. While I'm here, I've gotten 3 rejections for 'duplicate' on this one. My best guess is they have duplicate entries in the HIT. So, should be no fault of my own. Anyway, I contacted them a couple times. I think they me paid 0.05 (it's a 0.01 HIT) the first one I asked about. Still have the rejection though. Going to stay away until it's explained.

 

What was your completion time? @Random Turker and I did it between 2-3 minutes. I would reach out personally to them and they will likely reverse the rejection. I was actually surprised by the lack of push back and the acceptance that they were in the wrong.

Hello everybody!!

Question: If you are blocked from a requester do they no longer show up in your hits list on mturk? Like they completely disappear even when you search for hits you are not qualified for?

 

Na. They should still show up, but thier box thing in PANDA turns purple. Also, if you go to click/accept a HIT you know you can do, it will say you lack the qualifications to do them. I was blocked by Oxley last week and they kept appearing. I had all the quals to do the HIT's, but when I accepted the HIT, it stated I did not have the quals.

I am worried because I no longer see VRAPI hits at all lately. That does not seem normal.

 

Depends on how they set up their HITs. It's possible, but most reqs don't publish their HITs w/ hidden visibility it usually only gets set if they're using the premium quals.

You can check their TV page (if they have one) on the HITs tab to compare when they posted & your scraper & grab a panda you should qualify for and see if it turns purple

Cons:
a lot of reading and filling in bubbles, some of the words were hard to understand, and they use a lot of slurs so if youre not comfortable with that be careful

They just arent up. I just checked mine too and i got zilch. Hopefully it could mean they are deciding who gets the qual and who doesnt.

Thanks! It is in regards to the VRAPI hits. There have been none that I have seen lately even when I search for my unqualified hits.

 

They're hidden to people who don't qual.
