Spoiler: Long Story

So, as I've mentioned before, I work both front of house and back of house in a bowling alley. Tuesday I was working the counter on our college night, busiest night of the week. This usually brings a lot of people in, because drink specials and college go hand in hand. Anyways, I end up talking to trio of girls for a bit, as they work at a local restaurant, (they were wearing the shirts), with one of my best friends and my roommate also started there 2 days ago. One of them later comes back and asks me to charge her phone, she and I start chatting until her friends finally drag her off to go bowl. This happens a few times throughout the evening, and we're both laughing and having a good time. Finally the night winds down and they're leaving. When she returns her shoes, I'm like fuck it, and straight up ask her for her number. I literally have never done this, because the last thing people need when having a night of fun is some dude randomly creeping on them. But she's awesome, we clicked a bit, and she looks me up and down and says sure. Huzzah, my confidence is boosted, we chat a little bit daily, and make plans to go out and do something next week, as we both work all weekend. Nothing out of the ordinary there. Flash forward to last night. I get home at like 3 AM after a long day of work, and notice a bunch of cars parked around my house. We generally NEVER have people over us, as there are 4 roomies and we like to be considerate. I check my phone, and sure enough, two missed calls from my roommate. Ok, party time. I walk in, hear everyone in my garage, hear my dog yip at me from the back porch. Go out to check on the sealpup, and this same freaking girl is sitting in my deck chair, only one on the porch. She's got my dog's tennis ball in her hand and looks up and sees me. A big mix of a smile and bewilderment pops up on her face, and she basically screams, "What are you doing here?!" "Dude, I live here, that's my dog you're playing with." Big hugs all around, and a nice evening to boot. Sorry for the rant, but it was so weird it brightened my week. Life, right?

 

It certainly puts the pressure on for the second date. She has seen my room with the color changing art collection and met my dog. I am out of trump cards haha

It's hard to do it justice in a picture because it's better when the light is changing gradually, but I'll see what I can do when I get home!

That's the plan. Not that these posts are any indication, but I'm actually more of a listener in most situations. What I have heard from her is intriguing though.
