you have been working so hard, I have seen you on here a lot the last couple days. I would like to stay and turk but I'm so sleepy.

 

Actually I just found out it was approved immediatly...so get it done, doesn't take that long maybe 15 minutes or less.

 

all I can vouch for is that someone in my apt. building turked but she had a different apartment number and different internet connection. I have read that what you are saying is fine but it can cause problems with individual surveys. so mturk wouldn't get messed up but you would get occasional errors off mturk on the survey sites that say you've already done a hit that you haven't done. but that's just what I've read.

 

From what I've read and heard around, yes, but there might be a few surveys who are IP address picky and won't accept duplicate HITs despite having different accounts. I don't know how often that happens, but they do occur.

 

My husband and I both turk. He started over a year ago. Like the others have said, the only issue is not being able to complete certain surveys if the other has completed it already. I even have a dedicated internet line just for me, myself and I, but they still catch it.

 

Assuming you live in a house, if there's a company that offers net service with no contract, just have her open her own account. I'm fairly certain you can have two or more in the same house. Then you'll have different IPs. She can also get a hotspot or use her phone's data. I have to use a hotspot since I live in a rural area that only AT&T services at 1.5Mb. The unlimited plan is $35 a month (bought off Ebay) and I got the hotspot used for $170 (Nighthawk MR1100). Latency is high but it's better than AT&T.
