any good ideas for what a homeless person might need? felt awful while i was taking a walk and saw this lady going to sleep in a poncho on a bench. thinking of bringing her a blanket/pillow/food/drinks...

 

Silk brand has a new milk called "nut milk". The name isn't very good, but the milk itself tastes like almond milk. it has almond, cashew, and pea. it's ok.

All that is good, socks, if she didn't have some type of bag, a bag - backpack preferable to keep everything in, some kind of bus pass but it's kinda late for that

 

I was once and any of those items would be appreciated. For me the blankets were usually left behind often though because hard to pack and carry without being obvious that you are homeless. I would go with food personally and if you have extra blankets around then perhaps bring one and offer it.

 

She could probably use a home....

 

I just want to say that I've gotten pinged for survey content twice, The first time was maybe legit and I appreciate that whoever the mod was gave a reason now ( Happy Birthday, MeltingGlacier btw) but this is a little ridiculous. I come in here sometimes and see page after page of funny Dermot questions yet no violations there. Now, I've said my peace and I'll drop it I suppose. I think it just makes me look like a dick who gives shit away

april's been pretty bad, mturk wise. it doesn't help that I'm having something of a mental dip, as well. hopefully this is all just spring break or whatever, and mturk will pick up again. I wasn't around last april, so I don't know if last year was slow this time, or if this is just... odd.

 

Re: survey content - that stuff is super hard to judge w/o context of actually doing the survey, so if a mod errs on the side of caution sometimes ya just gotta let it go.
