That's honestly strange.. Twitter has been by far the only friendly MTurk related space I frequent.

 

I never participated in r/mturk either. I still look back on my first Mturk year with wonder. I can't believe I made it through without messing up my account. I can't imagine being new to Mturk these days. I feel that it must be a much bigger struggle for the new people now. How do folks get numbers these days? That number cushion made all the difference in the world for me.

 

I've never had experience with that exact medication/happenstance, but I did have a dog go temporarily deaf with a bad ear infection, so hopefully it might be that or will go away as the drug wears off :/ Fingers crossed it's temporary! Scraggles is fairly deaf, but Im honestly not sure he even knows anymore, he just screams at the top of his lungs, tho I'm sure it was scary for the poor feller when it first happened.

 

I totally feel this. When I first started and was getting into doing batches I made a mistake and did like 40 HITs for a really bad requester simply cause I didn't do some research. Got 30 rejects in a matter of seconds and dropped my rating to 70%. I worked hard to get back to 99% and I intend to stay there. I really thought I completely fucked my account up.

 

Ok...I promise it's not me. I don't even want to joke about it being me anymore.

Oh.. I get this over email a lot.

If you ever want me to change username/etc here to break the connection I'm happy to. At least some percentage of it comes from people here who wont miss the change so it wont stop, but it'll decrease the amount in the future and sadly you wont be the first person I've done it for. Sorry man, it's garbage. Some folks can't help themselves.

 

Show us on the doll the place where you draw the line.
