    Brief interruption from the thread, I've mentioned I just started Turking again after years off. Everything has changed up over the years, including scripts. So I wanted to discuss strategies real quick on methods being used in 2019.

    Used to I use to only work "batches" in previous years. This was in the Mturk days where the money was great. It's still decent, but doesn't seem like it used to be. However, now I'm starting to enjoy "surveying" more, and working on batches only when there's that "great batch up."

    So does anyone here run a HitForker page only or High Paying Surveys? Then run a separate Hit Forker for batches? And do you think by moving the "Required TO PAY" rating up on Hit Forker, that it's either positive: by allowing you to maximize your time usage? Or do you think it would limit your income from missing "new surveys or requesters"?

    Do not do this. You are using a page request each time Hit Forker searches which could be causing a PRE and returning no data depending on how the timing works. You get 1 page request roughly every second (It's a little bit under that actually)

    If you want to run multiple types of searches the most efficient way is to pull down the firehose of everything mturk will give you, unfiltered (100 hits basically) and then do filtering on the client side.

    Note: Hit Forker doesn't do that ;)
