I have to say parenting is the one thing I don't feel at all self conscious about. I'm damn good at being a mom.

Well, excepting my daughter who passed away. I do feel like a failure on that one despite it totally not being preventable. Yet, even with that, super confident in my mothering skills! I've picked up three extras I didn't give birth two over the last 26 years who keep introducing me as "this is my mom" or "this is my other mom" and making people wonder, lol, so I must be good at it!

 

Yeah, I know. Married kiddo is pretty smart, though. And he's never wanted a traditional life and whenever we talk about his sex life (he is surprisingly open about it with me, not his other mom, lol...) he's assured me he's extremely careful. He doesn't want to be a dad anytime soon. (Though, he wasn't planning on being married this time last year so now you have me thinking I Need to check in on this!)

I have VERY little patience when it comes to children acting like, well, "monsters", so that has inadvertently made me a pretty good mom. Am I the best?
