I feel ya. I was in labor for 63 hours. 40 with no meds. After 40 I went in for an epidural because...40 hours of labor, nuff said. Also got pitocin at that time to speed things up.

23 hours later, (and an epidural that wore off on one side only for a few hours) I ended up with a C-section. By then I was fine with it. I just wanted the kid out.

Second kid had no labor, planned c-section, things went (somewhat, in comparison) smoothly.

OMG, you sound like me when I had Xander. Went in on Feb 1st for induction and after 4 days of contractions but nothing, my OB fought with the Dept Head that he was too large. He took me in for a c-section anyhow. 10 pounds 11 ounces and 23 inches long. The dept head insisted he was a 7-8 pound baby. Those people know nothing. I had Ella c-section in an ambulance during the ice storm of 2007, so I appreciate all of these stories women have, we are just cattle tothe med field.
