Ummm. I don't know how old your kid is, but if he's on a third round of braces, might be time to change orthodontists. Any "good" orthodontist would advise you NOT to get braces until the kid is old enough for an overbite not to become an issue. I am assuming your kid is under 16? they do like their money though, so, the word "good" is debatable.

 

It is possible. I looked a selfie he took in June. His bite was fine then.

His lower jaw is growing so fast and so much it's causing a structural underbite. Possible we can control it with retainer and rubber bands now, if not...we wait and see and another round might be necessary. For which I will pay.

 

It's fine. The ortho is good. This is a potential underbite.

Kid has been evaluated by two orthodontists. Same treatment plan recommended by both. This is literally nothing anyone can predict. How big your kid's jaw will be is not something anyone can really guess when they're little! Male jaws grow up into the early 20s!
