Haha, I still listen to all of that stuff...although even at the time Adema was just a poor man's Korn. Wasn't the lead singer Jonathan Davis' brother or something?

I used to be friends with TRUSTcompany. They used to be called 41down, and before they were signed to Geffen, they had an awesome raw metal sound....still some of my favorite stuff to listen to.

Look into Kodi. It will greatly widen your entertainment viewing horizon.

 

The pirate streams on kodi are sourced from torrents anyways.

I just download stuff and watch on my TV through plex.

 

I'm paying for 200. I consistently get 75, 100 if I'm lucky. They tell me there's nothing they can do until I start renting equipment through them and remind me that I only pay for "up to 200." TWC near Cincinnati.

 

The primary difference is that streaming is legal whereas downloading is not. It's a fine line and I have no moral objection to either. I object to getting in trouble lol. Plus you can put Kodi and RetroPi on a $35 Raspberry Pi and have a complete media service and retro gaming console in something the side of a thick phone and ditch cable altogether lol. Although I do really like Plex as well and it integrates into Kodi very well.

Kodi (w/ plex through kodi to run your personal stuff) is a pretty sweet deal. If there's a surplus in my xmas fund after presents are bought, I want to put it towards a kodi/plex media center. I need to research it some, but I think there are some relatively cheap ways to do it.

a lot of those 'streams' on kodi actually do download and seed while you watch just fyi.
