We all met someone's gf for the first time and she went on a rant about how it's dangerous to be near cliffs because IF YOU LOOK AT THEM LONG ENOUGH, THEY SUCK YOU IN AND YOU FALL OFF. THEY SUCK YOU IN LIKE A BUG ZAPPER.

She also insisted that overweight people shouldn't lose weight, because the toxins will kill you! I guess I should be dead now...

And then that couples should all be a similar height! She was mildly disturbed that I have an SO 13 inches taller than me AND I don't wear heels all the time to make us feel closer together...she was also scandalized I went camping without a boyfriend to do everything for me/that I would dare even go somewhere with other people without bringing him.

And it really kept getting better from there! I still fed her cookies and took her on a hike and we showed her how to rock climb, but I was really holding back some laughs.

Oh. And then she declared that cats suck and shouldn't be house pets while her boyfriend frantically waved his hands at her.

 

I had a bunch of Mandarin in mine so it was basically free money.

She was insistent. And then she had a couple more glasses of wine and brought it back up. The group is entirely engineers, a nurse, a pharmacist, me, and her. People could barely keep it together by the time she got to her second explanation of why looking at cliffs is too dangerous.

Man, I'm sure glad that for all the times I've hiked on narrow cliffs, I haven't died yet! I guess, one day, the cliffs will suck me into the void of nothingness and death and my last thought will be, "oh man...she was right! THE CLIFFS HAVE TAKEN ME!"

 

I thought people this dumb were a myth, but I guess not.

This is insanely hilarious.
