Judging by context, I think they meant the hit expired.

I thought others have said that you are supposed to submit the hit first, then do the work, because the timer isn't long enough?

 

I don't think he got rejected I think he submitted it before finishing and is not sure if they will pay him if he finishes it. but somebody already gave him the correct answer

He said he tried to do what everyone else has said to do (submit then do the work) and they rejected it before he could finish doing the work. No idea if that's because he is/was too slow at finishing up the work or not, but it certainly sounds like he did get rejected.

 

but if he got rejected what makes him think they will pay if he keeps working on it. I assumed he just didn't word his question well

 

Hoping they'll overturn the rejection (and thus pay) when he finally finishes.

 

I've submitted a Mindspark before it expired, but I was well into the HIT, and only needed a page of links to do.
