10/10 - Thirteen Thursday!

When I got my last cat I was this close to naming her Aslan.

Just so I could call out the door, "Here, kitty kitty kitty! Come home you little Ass!"

But decided all I would ever call her was Ass so I picked Lucy. So now I just call her Loose all the time.

 

pets named after other animals are just as awesome as pets named after food. none of my pets follow this. but i still love it.

i just got done pet sitting a dog named salsa and i couldn't stop saying "sa'saaaaaa!"

 

At least Lucy gives you an excuse to sing one of the like only relevant Beatles songs ever made.

 

You could always name it Freesho

That way when you get up in the morning and realize it's gotten outside, you can both go out in your underwear and call for it!

 

I didn't get to name my puppy at all
King is still fine, but far from my first choice in pet names. I would've named him something boring like Gregory, though.

 

I do sing that song to her often!

I also call to her using a Ricky Ricardo voice all the time, too.

I don't think she's figured out her name yet. I don't often say it the same way twice.

I really think Gorilla is a great name for a girl cat. It's pretty much perfect.

I really need to get back to watching that. I'm still on Season 8. I got sick of that season and am going to have to force my way through this arc.

 

i'm gonna get whacked for this, but I just realized I forgot to catch up on it

 

he was your... someone's dog right? cousins? sisters? something? he fits king though, even ironically.

jack freakishly picked his name. when he was rescued, his tag said blaze. his fosters were talking about their friend, and they were like "yeah so we should invite jack over..." or whatever, and dog-jack started FLIPPING OUT all happy excited nutso, after being super timid the weeks leading up to it. he never answered to blaze, they figured it was just part of his timidness, but decided his name was jack. so. jack. he'll even hear it on tv and be like "hey that's me, sup."

 

Our youngest one (the one in my avatar) is, of course, named "Schrodinger".

I just have to wait until my family are out, find a small vial of poison, and finally prove or disprove the whole quantum physics thing, once and for all.

 

See, you can't go wrong with a Seinfeld reference as your pet name...worked for me
