I literally just started watching it on Netflix two years ago. I had never watched it before, so making it to season 8 in a little over a year was pretty good!

Today has officially sucked. I'm at half of my normal PE and it doesn't look like it's getting any better.

She's 16 years old (almost), is dying due to kidney disease, has about 7 other things wrong with her (like her back legs don't work well enough for her to jump anymore) and she's got hella anxiety.

But, she just proved that she's still got it.

Got home from music lessons to hear the cats going ape crazy in the back yard, so I go out tp look and see that they have a rat between the two of them. Dessa doggie runs over, pushes both cats out of the way and LIKE A BOSS picks up that rat and shakes it around like a rag doll. Repeatedly.

Then like an ash hole she tries to carry it still alive into my house through a door I stupidly left open but I beat her to the door (never knew I could run so fast in heels).

Long story short, all the animals wandered away from the injured but still fighting to escape rat at different times, so I trapped it between two buckets and the kid and I drove it to a dumpster far far away. This is the second rat disposal trip we've made in two weeks, but at least this one didn't get into the house.

Anyway, GOOD DOGGIE!!! Good girl.

I shoved it into one bucket using the dog's outdoor water bowl, lol. It was pretty injured, so moving, but not fast. I don't like them, either. I rarely see them alive around here. My animals do a good job killing them. I do have to dispose of the dead bodies though.

There has been a LOT of construction around here lately, and a park not too far away has been dug up and redone, so the rats seem to have been a little more present this year. I've never had one get into the house but did this year.

I'm really hoping there won't be too many more of them! Mice I can handle. Rats make me freak a little.
