    About 6 months-ish. I was working for a party company ( to simplify lol) and my boss was transitioning abroad. She wanted to take a peon with her for awhile while she set up camp and I had just graduated/left my ex, so I was volunteered myself. Got paid like crap but free place to stay/lot of travel & I had time to take some fun cooking classes! I still hear an angry pastry chef yelling, "VITE VITE!" in my nightmares, tho.

    Yeah, CIA is only about $70K, but I here when you get out you can a decent line cook job for about $12/hour.

    Yeah, but then how could I literally re-enact the plot of the movie Sabrina?! Poor, uncouth long island gal goes off to LCB in Paris & comes back a sexy chef who falls in love with Humprey Bogart. Gosh!
